They can always count on their parents

We want to try helping our children, Buzz and Longreen, but they won’t accept our support. :( Buzz feels like he’s being a burden, Longreen says he’s old enough to take financial responsibility over his wedding plans… I don’t know what to think. I might be biased by the maternal thought that children will always need you somehow, perhaps I’m just hurt by their self-restrictions… but all I want is for them to know that they can always count on their parents, even though we can’t provide the 100% of what they need. But partial help is always available, ALWAYS. Because they are our dear children.
We could ask for a cash advance to try and help them, and then we would return money little by little… but would our kids accept? :( I’m glad they want to be independent, but they should also understand that they’re NOT being a burden to the family; just part of it. I hope hubby and I can sort this out as soon as possible… It makes me feel a failure as a mother, somehow… and it makes me worry about my children’s future as well… *sigh*
